Good to know
- Structured data helps Google understand your page, but Google does not guarantee a rich result or a better position.
- Only add information that is visible and true on your site. Do not add star ratings or reviews about your own business: Google does not allow self-serving reviews for local businesses.
- Keep it in sync: if your hours or phone change, update the code too.

Common questions
What is LocalBusiness schema?
A small block of JSON-LD code, based on the schema.org vocabulary, that describes your business: name, address, phone, opening hours, location and links. Google and AI tools read it.
Which fields does Google require?
For local business structured data Google requires name and address. It recommends telephone, url, geo, opening hours, price range and an image.
Do I still need a Google Business Profile?
Yes. They work together: the profile appears in Maps and local results, and the structured data on your site confirms the same details.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The code is built in your browser and nothing you type is sent to Balabot.
