Are dental clinic websites in Israel ready for AI search?

More patients ask ChatGPT or Google’s AI which clinic to choose. We checked the websites of clinics that already rank well on Google to see whether AI search can read and understand them.

Published 15 October 2026 · 19 websites checked

Key findings

  • The average score was 87 out of 100 (median 89, range 67 to 98). The basics for Google are mostly in place.
  • None of the 19 sites block AI crawlers such as GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot.
  • 47% have missing or incomplete structured data about the business (who, where, opening hours). 21% have none at all.
  • 53% have no single clear main heading (H1) on the home page. 37% have no H1 at all.
  • 42% have a missing meta description or one of the wrong length.
  • None mark up their questions and answers as FAQ structured data.

What it means

These clinics already do well on Google, and none of them shut out AI crawlers. The gaps are in the facts a machine can read with certainty: what the business is, where it is, when it is open, and one clear sentence that says what the page is about. AI assistants use exactly these facts when they name a clinic in an answer, so they are worth fixing first.

Three quick fixes

  1. Add Dentist or MedicalBusiness structured data with your name, address, phone and opening hours.
  2. Give the home page one H1 that says what you do and where, for example "Dental clinic in Ramat Gan".
  3. Write a meta description of about 120 to 160 characters, and mark up your common questions as FAQ.

How we did it

On 15 October 2026 we searched Google for "dental clinic" in four cities (Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Petah Tikva and Herzliya) with personalization turned off. We took the clinic websites from the organic results, leaving out directories, review sites and health funds. That gave 22 sites. We ran each one through our free AI search checker, which reads only public files: the home page, robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt. 19 sites could be read; 2 blocked the automated check and 1 did not load.

Limits

This is a small sample from one day, and only of clinics that already rank well, so it likely looks better than the average clinic site. The checker reads the home page only and cannot judge content quality. We do not publish clinic names.
