We want everyone to be able to use the Balabot website, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, which covers the Israeli Standard IS 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0 AA) and the European standard EN 301 549 used for the European Accessibility Act.
What we have done
The whole site works with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines and a "skip to content" link.
Text and buttons meet colour-contrast guidelines in both day and night modes.
Buttons and links are at least 44 by 44 pixels on touch screens.
Animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
The page language and reading direction change correctly, including right-to-left for Hebrew.
Icons have text labels or are hidden from screen readers when decorative. Form fields have visible labels and clear error messages.
Text can be enlarged up to 200% without losing content.
Known limitations
Our two promotional videos (Hebrew version of the site) have text in the image and no captions or audio description yet. We are preparing captioned versions.
The animated phone screens are decorative illustrations. The same information appears in the text next to them.

Limites connues
Nos deux vidéos promotionnelles (version hébraïque du site) contiennent du texte incrusté sans sous-titres ni audiodescription. Des versions sous-titrées sont en préparation.
Les écrans de téléphone animés sont des illustrations ; la même information figure dans le texte voisin.

האנימציות נעצרות כשהמכשיר מוגדר להפחתת תנועה.
שפת הדף וכיוון הקריאה משתנים בהתאם, כולל מימין לשמאל בעברית.
לאייקונים יש תווית טקסט או שהם מוסתרים מקוראי מסך כשהם עיצוביים. לשדות הטופס יש תוויות גלויות והודעות שגיאה ברורות.
אפשר להגדיל את הטקסט עד 200% בלי לאבד תוכן.
מגבלות ידועות
בשני סרטוני התדמית (בגרסה העברית) יש טקסט בתוך התמונה ואין עדיין כתוביות או תיאור קולי. אנחנו מכינים גרסאות עם כתוביות.
מסכי הטלפון המונפשים הם איורים להמחשה. אותו מידע מופיע בטקסט לידם.
